BenQ Mobile says that it is about to launch the BenQ-Siemens Q-fi EF51, a music device with an integrated mobile phone. It is the very first mobile phone within BenQ-Siemens? Q-fi range of music-focused devices. Q-fi products feature easy-to-use music entertainment with fast and direct access to all music functions.
Apart from an FM radio, the Q-fi EF51 boasts a player for music files in MP3, WMA, AAC and AAC+ formats. A particularly convenient feature is the voice-operated music selection (Speech-to-Music) function, which allows users to simply tell their mobile phone the name of the song and it starts playing - no search time anymore. The BenQ-Siemens Q-fi EF51 also has integrated 3D surround sound, a 6-band equalizer for individual sound arrangement and a Show Lyrics feature which displays the text of the music being played on the screen. Additionally, the Q-fi EF51 enables music to be recorded directly from the radio, a convenient feature when recording personal favorites.
Even a large music collection will find ample room on the exchangeable miniSD cards (up to 2GB). Songs stored on a PC can be easily transferred onto the mobile using the USB data cable supplied. The stereo headset that comes with the mobile ensures excellent sound quality. Anyone wishing to listen wirelessly to music on the move can use the Headset Bluetooth Stereo headset with remote control, which is available as an original accessory.
The Q-fi EF51 is a high-quality mobile phone equipped with an integrated 1.3 megapixel digital camera. Concealed under a flap at the front of the mobile is the phone's keypad. Supported by music formats MIDI , XMF and MP3, 40 different ringtones can be selected.
The BenQ-Siemens Q-fi EF51 will be available from June 2006 on in white and black color variants.
