The iPhone is Finally Here After Much Hype
By LongDistanceUS.com on Friday, June 29 2007
After all of the months of waiting for the iPhone and the enormous hype that came with it, it is finally here starting at 6 PM on Friday June 29 at all of the timezones across the US. The amount of hype that has swirled around this new cell phone is even momentous then the RAZR incarnations. No doubt there will be lots of consumers buying the new iPhone, there will also be assuredly disappointment. Because of the enormous hype, we now have much bigger expectations for the abilities of the iPhone. We now think it should be able to wash the dishes and take out the garbage while it is at it. With much bigger expectations on the abilities of the iPhone, come disappointment from the legions of consumers that have bought the iPhone.
Well, just read the reviews on the capabilities of the iPhone. It doesn't even support the creation of video clips. Along with many other features consumers have come accustomed to by using their Motorola RAZR cell phones. Apple at first said third-party applications would not be able to be installed on the iPhone, but then later decided to let them be installed on the iPhone. We still don't know yet though if all of the third-party applications will work properly though.
I for one still think the Razr phones have it better then the iPhone. But it'll be interesting to see what Steve Jobs comes out with when they reveal the second generation of the iPhone sooner or later. Also will be interesting if this current iPhone will go down in price after awhile. Will there be shortages like there was with Playstations (of course that was on purpose)? We'll soon find out about all of these.
